Back on T_D, before the election, I stopped over to that sub, thinking "no one could possibly actually vote for this clown." I saw the people memed like crazy, but they actually wanted him as president. How ridiculous! But the memes were funny, compelling even. So I kept coming back.
It was the picture of Trump where if you replace his eyes with his lips (the picture was posted to T_D, just found a copy on r/pics), he looks exactly the same. That's what changed my life forever. Not even exaggerating. I saw that Trump fans could laugh at themselves, tease their president, and still believing what they believe in. That broke my walls down enough for me to start reading on the philosophies. And over time I found myself agreeing with him. And then I voted for him twice, and changed the minds of at least half a dozen people around me.
That's the story of how a meme forever changed me and a few people's lives forever.
So frens, keep memeing! We know the logical part of the brain does not reside with the decision making part of the brain! Nay! It resides in the campus where memes are built, where memes are received, where memes are welcomed!
Remember the infamous words spoken against true Nazis!
We shall meme on the beaches, we shall meme on the landing grounds, we shall meme in the fields and in the streets, we shall meme n the hills; we shall never surrender.
Very true. I think we all hoped he'd win but none of us really knew. He was up against the machine, the titan. We didn't know about Q, so how could one crazy, orange billionaire beat the entire planetary international cabal?
Election night was the most electric I've felt since attending an NBA Finals game. Absolutely electric and fun.
And the days before were just memeing on house money.
I was converted by memes.
