Sociopathy to them is a feature not a bug.
It's basically a government license to cause mayhem and get handsomely paid for it.
Con artists target people with narcissistic personality disorder (NPDs) because their sense of entitlement leads them to believe they deserve the get-rich-quick scheme. This guy’s story about the asset who turned out to be a double agent trying to kill CIA officers reminded me of that. The NPDs in the CIA were so full of themselves and overconfident in their ability to get “good” intel from an asset that they didn’t see they were being conned, and so they didn’t properly protect themselves. The CIA screwed themselves by recruiting NPDs, but I suppose it’s a catch-22 for the CIA because quality human beings with enough humility to be objective don’t want to be deep state goons.
I heard, read, saw documentaries that claimed the Mormons and their secret masonic underwear provide the bureau with many many agents.
Many of the original CIA guys were Mormons. It wasnt what you think, tho. The reason the government recruited them and to this day, still do?
They are rule abiding and good people at the core.
The government, although out of control in many ways right now, does not want intelligent, immoral mavericks within their midst.
Your typical mormon that signs up for a gub job is let me do my 20 squeaky clean, no issues and get a pension.

He is an investment guy, but he comes at it from a geopolitical point of view, and goes back in history to understand the geopolitics.
He once said that the reason the CIA is so bad is because they can never really fire anyone. The dullards and bad apples cannot be trusted to not divulge secret info to enemies, so when they should be fired, they are instead simply re-assigned.
In the long run, you have a lot of bad people who end up running a lot of things, when they have no real ability and have no sense of honor or justice. As a result, the entire agency deteriorates over time and becomes a psychopathic agency.
I also read something by someone else shortly after the Boston Marthon Bombing (so-called).
The writer claimed that the case officers (FBI) who were investigating would go around and interview witnesses. They kept coming up with a familiar theme that was troublesome. Appartently each time they would go to interview a witness, the witness would mention that another agent had already been there to interview them.
But this other agent was not "officially" part of the investigation. So, what is an FBI agent, who is not part of the investigation, doing interviewing witnesses before the case officers can, and without their knowledge?
The agent's name was Andrew McCabe.
He would later be appointed Deputy FBI Director.
So a rogue Muslim FBI agent doing a rogue investigation on Muslim terrorists. Fascinating.
Because it's the organized crime branch of the U.S. government (not that that label is exclusive to the CIA when it comes to governmental crime).
The CIA has been overthrowing democratically elected governments across the world since their inception. To minimize blowback from operators you recruit psychopaths.

The US Army used to do its own intelligence before the CIA (which is why it is called the CENTRAL intelligence agency -- took away the military branches' intel, which should be restored and the CIA ended).
They had a program called X2, which was to infiltrate European governments post-WW2, to identify and be watchful against communist takeover of Europe.
Once the CIA was created, it took over X2 and renamed it Operation Gladio.
Gladio was used in Europe, and then expanded worldwide, as the CIA used its intel to then conduct black ops (off the books) in various countries around the world, getting the US into wars, and causing the overthrow of many governments.
What we are witnessing today is Operation Gladio being turned on the American People in the USA.

All of that experimentation back in the 50's/60's detailed in Minds of Men wasn't really to understand and fix broken minds it was the opposite. They learned how to break people, how to look for the already broken ones and recruit/exploit them for their purposes.
