I'm crying just from the trailer. When I watched The Passion of Christ, I was sobbing all the way home and into the night. Can I handle this? Yes!!!! I will find the film and bring others.
OT, but honest question: what about the Passion of the Christ made you cry? No one I knew did, so that seemed to be an internet/TV thing. It was a well-made interpretation, but also seemed like something any Christian should be quite familiar with, already.
That Christ suffered so much pain. The worst pain he suffered was a separation from God. That was his true death. The film reminded us of Christs sacrifice because of our sin. We put him through that because of our sin.
But again, he won against evil.
God save the children!
This is a bridge too far and won't be accepted.

Story about me when i was a child.
Was born in California and one of the reasons my family left?
California went to shiat in the late 60's to early 70's for those paying attention.
According to my father and verified by my mother.
Was sitting on the front lawn playing and my mom was in a outdoor chair watching me. You know, those crappy plastic aluminum things from the 70's and 80's.
About 50 feet from front door to curbside. I was playing about 10 feet from curbside.
Dad is inside house.
Mom is sitting in the chair about 10' from front door, but about 30 feet from me.
My mom and dad are early 20's, but obviously more mature than an early 20 year old today.
I was child number 2 and my mom was experienced in raising a kid. My older brother was 4 years senior.
Was a corner house.
A car passes by slowly around the corner.
Three guys in the car. They yell cat calls to not my mom, but me. My mom was a beautiful young woman and it really spooked her having guys say hey cute young boy, but not in the right way.
They drove back down the street, but in a manner in which my mother thought they were circling.
She yelled inside for my dad to come out.
She explained what happened and my dad went hyper alert.
Sure enough, they came back at a high speed around the corner.
They slammed their breaks at front of the house where my dad was and yelled at him, "what do you think you are going to do?"
My father said, kill you, if you do not leave now.
According to my mother, my dad was at the front passenger side of the car standing just off the curb, streetside.
They said, " we will come back", then hit the gas to leave.
My mom said, "your dad tried to grab the guy in front passenger seat but could not and ended up grabbing the pony tail of the rear passenger seat rider."
My mom swears, "your father grabbed that hair so tight that the guy was scalped"
Love that story.
Most likely, my dad just grabbed a few hair strands, but my mother to this day insists that skin was attached.
I was 4 years old.
Final thought. A great reason for having both a mother and a father raising kids. That was a team effort success.
Just the trailer brings tears to my eyes.
Pure evil. The punishment God has in line for them will be just!
