Yes, this was my point of the whole post. The whole point of closing off the border is to shut down the criminals and terrorists pouring in and to curb the illegal hard drugs pouring in. Trump also said it’s time we take on the Cartels so we send a strong message, No More! No more deadly drugs killing people. You can’t just try to regulate and rely on the government to stop it you are correct, it takes a strong border and the threat of death to stop it.
A lot of these drugs are being brought in over our "border." Secure the border and we'll halt most of these drugs and drug dealers in their tracks. Then secure all shipments coming in from China and other places where we know fentanyl and similar drugs are being brought in from too. Then deal with the domestic growers, creators, and dealers.
In my opinion, drugs are a symptom of hopelessness, not a cause. I think that if society wasn't engineered to make us feel useless and unable to achieve happiness, the problem would diminish in a generation or two.
Yes, we must change the culture in this Country for better too. God as our Foundation. Mike Huckabee said something to that effect at last night’s Faith and Freedom Coalition. For me personally, I’ve never been better in my life after surrendering it to Jesus Christ. I was a heroin addict after getting hooked on pain pills. That is the most miserable, hopeless existence you can imagine. A relationship with God helped me through it. I have been depressed all my life but God helped me there too. God can help us all we just need to let God back in to our great Nation. Then the evil that perpetuates hopelessness and misery doesn’t stand a chance. Just my opinion too. Thank you.
Once this nation comes back to God we won't need a president, politician, or justice system to solve this problem. Jesus is the way. Make America Godly Again.

I also have a hard time believing that the government can prevent hard drugs completely. They can't even keep them out of prisons.
I do think though, that having a solid border will severely limit them, as that right now is the main conduit for this filth coming into the country.
We just need a proper border, for many myriad reasons.

They have the death penalty for drug trafficking in Singapore, it hasn't stopped it but has only upped the ante into a higher stakes game.
