I was thinking about the fact that it's a highly dem area and wondered why? It's the repubs they want to kill. But maybe it's to plant the idea that lawmakers need to pass laws that will combat these awful effects of climate change. There's always an angle, I'm trying to be more conscious of that.
This is all a lead in for the July 1st 5g towers going live. The adverse reactions can be blamed on the air quality issue. Pandemic #2 is on our doorstep.
I'd just like to point out that we've had that weird orange haze in the air months before any claims of wildfires started.
I've noticed as well that nobody has been talking about the volcanoes that have been popping off since 2020. In that year alone, there were 52 active volcanoes. I don't think Mount Etna has actually settled down in the past 3 years.
From the Wiki entry about the 1883 Krakatoa eruption:
The ash caused "such vivid red sunsets that fire engines were called out in New York, Poughkeepsie, and New Haven to quench the apparent conflagration"
Sound familiar? Of course, Krakatoa was a massive eruption. But instead of one large eruption, would many smaller eruptions worldwide over a period of a couple of years cause a similar effect?
My thinking is that yes, all the volcanic ash is having an effect on the atmosphere. But you can't blame the volcanoes for "man-made climate change" and raise their taxes/take away their liberties, can you?
Wow, I am glad I checked in today. Woke up this morning on the southside of Chicago and couldn’t help but notice the heavy smog or smoke in the air and I am on the far far south side of Chicago and it was thinking that for me to notice right away
This is to get people to stay home and wear masks. This also cannot be argued with since N95 masks are made for the nanoparticles in smoke. The chemical component is something different so expect that gas masks will become acceptable

Waukesha is just west of Milwaukee and east of Madison. How can it be so high there? It kind of looks like its emanating from Waukesha.
The wind funnels smoke sometimes. it could just be a faulty reading as well.
Oh frick that's nor far from me!
Whatever it is, it triggered a false fire alarm at work.
I still say it's the "fire retardant" being used. We never had wide spread dense (red) smoke until only recently.
It certainly smelled more chemical than woodsmokey

Just keep lighting those fire JUSTIN CASTREAU.
I flew yesterday. Central/western Illinois. The top altitude of the smoke was 8000’. Airport only had 1 1/2 visibility.
Geez! It's nuts here now. The sun is beginning to peek through. About 1/2 mile visibility, this morning it was less than 1/4!
Excellent point. Lots of narratives to string along with the crisis.

Just a crazy theory, not mine.
Carry On!!!
and more crazy brainstorming, July 1 is half way through the year; day 182...and the stepson from the Titan billionaire was at a blink182 concert.

Working on the car, headlights on, I could see the smoke in the headlight beams. Indiana.
