Bullshit. Many of these kids are trying to escape a life most can’t imagine. I know some who joined to try to make a difference, totally based, knowing full well what the vax can do and still willing to sacrifice their bodies. Curious, have you served?
Doesn't matter. If you accept "just following orders", don't complain if they are ever turned against us. I reject that notion.
My neighbor is presently on a deployment. If I find out he is in Ukraine, I'll bust his balls for it. He knows I'll do it too, though he (rightfully, for his sake) takes classification seriously so I'll probably never find out.
It doesn't change that we have no business there, and blindly supporting people is not only incredibly naive, it is prone to backfiring just like that thin blue line did.
Probably not unless he is 17/18. They take young, impressionable kids and tell them they are going to be “special forces” or some shit. Training is done in Israel.
Syria was shit. Those kids are fucked up in the head now.
Thanks Mos/CIA
Of course the Russian army will put up a better fight than unarmed Christian Syrians gunned down and blamed on Assad.
So you don’t know the sacrifice of not seeing your child born, missing your grandfathers funeral, family reunions and every other important event. I agree we have no business there. Pretty sure some Vietnam vets who were drafted and fought thought the same.. I’m certainly not blindly supporting, I’m just calling BS on this stickie for our troops! Saying “you’re no hero” has my blood boiling. We’re on the same team here fren.
Well, when you are fighting secretly to support and sustain a genocidal neo-Nazi regime, I would say you are no hero.
And don't bother to give me the loyalty shakedown. My great-great-grandfather fought on the Union side to end slavery. My grandfather was mustered into the Army for the Spanish-American War. My father went into the Navy to fight World War II and the Korean War. My uncle went into the Army Air Corps to fight World War II and stayed in until retirement. My brother went into the Navy.
Fighting in Ukraine, as I understand it, is a volunteer effort whereby the fighter simply resigns his commission as a U.S. soldier and then signs up as a mercenary. If it is voluntary, all aspects of morality apply. If it is not voluntary, you are being dragooned into illegal homicide...and still not a hero.

Under whom would I have chosen to serve?
Obama? Bush? Clinton?

That's a bumper sticker idea right there.

I agree with you. Disrespecting military members is a low class move.
Maybe it’s the wording but “you’re no hero” and the American people don’t support you” “you will die for nothing” is disrespect.

CO’s aren’t going to simply resign their commission and become mercenaries. Most CO’s aren’t boots on the ground fighters.
I am currently serving. You are acting retarded
