Thank you
We have a much thinner and longer steel memorial in our town. I'll have to see if I can figure out what portion of the building it came from.
Thanks for sharing.
Must have come from the first floor because we all know that the 86th floor steel was bent, broken and warped by the plane hitting the tower.
are we (i.e., you) being facetious? btw, little interesting factoid, "facetious" is one of , or perhaps the only word in the english language that includes only one off all 5 vowels and in order...if you include the trans/gender fluid letter "y" well than just go with facetiously :)
thanks, that's interesting, and any idea what the plaques next to it say? I've noticed that memorial signs have hints/think there were a lot of whitehats in the NPS.
If you go to my original post, you can read the plaques. The one on the right provides an account of a fire fighter who went to the towers and died. The plaque on the left is a quote from around 1910? by a NYC fire chief, I think.

thanks🇺🇸
I guess Rosie "fire can't melt steel" was part of the obligatory reveal that gives implicit permission.
