@PaulMinotMD: I've been practicing psychiatry for 38 years. I love my job, my peers, and my patients. But I've come to the conclusion that I'm participating in the biggest intellectual scam of this era. We claim...…
Just this morning I read an article in the EpochTimes about a psychiatrist who may have actually stumbled on a cause and cure for mental illness. His patient was overweight, so to treat his self-esteem, the doctor put him on a keto diet. Patient not only lost weight but also his psych symptoms. Doctor tries this diet on other patients with great results. Concludes that mitochondrial problems cause mental problems. https://archive.is/H4KXO
This fits with another doctor ( neonatologist) who improved her husband's dementia by adding certain oils to his diet to improve brain glucose uptake. There is also some correlation between the hard belly fat in the omentum and dementia. Sorry those articles are not at my fingertips but I believe they were also in the Epoch Times.
You should read the “Mind Gut Connection”. Incredible book that covers exactly this topic. It’s crazy what our system has done to us.
Hey Tweety, it’s going. Had a good 4th of July, have taken a few days off doing any caretaking, which means Mom won’t be doing any holistic practices for a few days. Even though I know they’re helping, she won’t do anything unless I’m there telling her to or her doctor prescribes it. It weighs on you and I’m happy to be taking a step back for a bit.
How are you?
Is the hubby still taking fenben and the other protocols? Sounds like you’ve had a rough few weeks. Hope the Lord is giving you some needed strength!
My Mom wants to try chemo again next week even though it landed her in the hospital within 3 days of taking it last time. Her doctors still haven’t blamed the drugs as the root cause of why she ended up there. She’s stabilizing. Still needing blood transfusions. The doctor scared her off fenben because they said it can suppress bone marrow blood cell production. Trying to get her to focus on nutrition, supplements, vitamins, etc. but it’s an uphill battle. The indoctrination runs deep.
Saw a thread on here yesterday talking about combining ivermectin and Fenbendazole. Sounds like that could be a winning combo. Garden is going great! We’re getting so many herbs and vegetables it’s crazy. Didn’t realize how productive these can be.
I’m up in MI and it’s hot here too! Although I much prefer to our cold winters. Hope you’re surviving the heat!
Dr. David Perlmutter is worth a look up.
i've been saying for about 25 years that psycharity is a pseudo-science
I was talked out of being a psychiatrist by an actual psychiatrist, was a drinking buddy.
That being said, he was just retiring when I was looking of going to school for that exact thing. He said the care was gone, it was more about reeducation than actually helping. This was 2013 already
I am fascinated by orthomolecular psychiatry. If I was younger I would seriously consider pursuing this as a career.
My husband’s mother was schizophrenic. He struggles with alcoholism and there is research suggesting a link with b3 deficiency for both as you probably know. This research has apparently been out there since 1950’s. Makes me sick.
I am so thankful you commented. My husband is willing to check it out but I am wary of being too optimistic. Seems almost too good to be true. As an aside, my son struggled with migraines when he was younger and they found out he had an off the charts magnesium deficiency. They mega dosed him and it did the trick. Makes you wonder how much of this is so much simpler than they want us to know.
Yes I think that's where I saw it. It's quite astounding.
Walsh Protocol and understanding neurotransmitter genes is real science, so of course it is not funded. I've seen people cured of mental illness with the right targeted supplements based off empirical lab data.
Mental illness and suicides are a feature of said pseudo-science.
The DSM is the Big Book of Lies.
Its just a product of competing schools of psychology, its got FA to do with science or medicine

A PHD and he spent 38 years discovering you can't cure crazy...
Start distributing some psilocybin mushrooms. Would help society clear up 90% of its mental issues overnight.
Virology to psychiatry: "Hold my beer."
Dilly dilly Sir. Welcome to the fight.
Psychiatry, Psychology, and Neurology. All 3 are junk science.
He has just come to this conclusion? I knew this 50 years ago when I had to be treated by them, it was obvious they were charlatans and drones.
