Don't be daunted by the fact that it's a command prompt/Terminal application, it's very simple to use, mostly the only command you need is:
yt-dlp "video url"
And it'll download with the highest quality, you only have to fuss with switches and arguments if you want to download with a different quality, extension, or maybe just extract audio etc..
It also works with everything pretty much, youtube, twitter, twitch, instagram, random webpages with videos on them
Thanks for the link. I have that installed!! I blame old age.
However, I find it one of the most frustrating programs that I have ever used. It looks so smart but it is not easy to find out what everything does and even when you have correctly located the download button it starts asking questions about Browsers and Companion Apps and it just seems to get more complicated from there. So I gave up on it.
Use https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp for this fren

I use a browser extension, it works for bitchute, rumble, and lots of other sites. Not youtube though.

If you are more technically inclined I endorse The_Watcher's method. It works too.
I use this too, but it can be hit or miss
Hit F12 on keyboard whilst on bitchute video
a side or bottom window will open
under the "NETWORK" tab you will see a bunch of lines and files
look for video files (MP4 MPEG etc...) double click
will open video in new window
download video
voila... no need to dl shitty apps
P.S
I just did this with the brave browser btw
This is the correct answer.
old school
Download yt-dpl
Use command: yt-dpl -F bitchute.com/videolink to find out availabe.video and audio formats
Use command yt-dpl - f "format-number" bitchute.com/videolink to download.
You.can use it for YouTube, bitchute, rble, tiktok etc.
Rumble: just click on embed button and use the second entry in the list.
Easy peasy without dependency on online conversion platforms and
With ffmpeg you can simply alter.the quality, extract video and/or audio.
User experience.is.another word for user dependency. Independence is more than just a 4th of July celebration with fireworks.
TubeMate has been working well for me for years.
TubeMate 2 for YouTube stuff. TubeMate 3 for Bitchute & Rumble.

If you use Brave (or Chrome... ugh), look for the Cococut extension in the Goog store. You'll thank me later.
