Relative told me they are going tomorrow. βI donβt want to see it, I can only imagine. But it feels like Iβm SUPPOSED to see itβto support it. To make a statement.β
I am astounded that they let this happen. Surely they must have well-tested methods for manipulating box office just like the old-time record labels had ways and means of making sure the right song got to Number One.
I had a minor part in a movie once and it seemed to me they were making no effort for it to be a box office success. On release it sank without trace into the DVD bargain bin but my guess is they got sweet EU visual arts grants and a juicy tax writeoff.
Anyways the fact that this is a success, that to me shows that the cabal are not all-powerful because I think that if they could have stopped it they would have stopped it..
From what Iβve learned, most American movies donβt focus on American moviegoers anymore. Mission Impossible latest movie has made like 300 million over seas, maybe more now. Domestically it has done about the same as previous MI movies. The one before this latest one MI-6(I think) make like 1.4 billion dollars total. With 70%+ in foreign theaters.
SoF is doing very well, and itβs message itβs whatβs resounding, and embarrassing for other big blockbusters. The money is a visible factor of course. But now itβs going to other countries, which is awesome. There is like a Hollywood 2.0 forming. They absolutely donβt want to call it that, based outside of California. Some big names have been talking about this. Mark Wahlberg is the first to come to my mind. Hopefully moves with real truth like Sound of Freedom will lead the way in what America needs to see and hear.
I pray the trend continues when Mel Gibson's new documentary comes out! (I read it is a multi part series tho, I really hope they are talking about two different projects he is backing)

"β¦β¦β¦β¦also Sound of Freedom plays domestically at 3285 theaters and Mission Impossible plays domestically at 4321 theaters.
Mission Possible
This is fantastic news. Must be so embarrassing that their new film didn't do as well.
Damn, that is awesome!
So glad so many are seeing SoF!

Dayum, talk about winning against stiff competition!
Super curious to see how it does this weekend against Barbie and Oppenheimer
The important thing is it's been out 2 weeks and ticket sales haven't fallen off a cliff.
