That free trade agreements decimated many economies. I'm pretty sure from Bush Sr until Obama it's been nothing but scam after scam to steal the world's wealth from normal people all over the world and centralize it in fewer easily corrupted hands, to pervert society and subjugate it.
Last time I looked. Like I said she's been at this for awhile and trying only to buy stuff made in America. Shoes are hard apparently. Sorry, buy what you want.
I would try some of the local farm stores if you have them, they seem to feature smaller niche brands. lots of jeans & T-shirts/dresses too & cute boots
Is there anything against buying from thrift stores like Goodwill, or buying from social commerce sites like Poshmark?
Buying clothing from thrift stores or social commerce sites does not mean your money will be going to the corpo brands like Nike. Your money goes to the seller (and a cut goes to the commerce website if you're going for online)...
I have purchased my clothes exclusively from thrift stores for the last 20 years, shoes as well. That way the money stays here and doesn't go to companies like Nike, who blatantly price fixed Air Jordans when they first came out by refusing to let stores have any more.
About ten years back or a little more I was looking for a pair of boots. I wanted some Danner Pronghorn boots since they were supposedly made in America.
I went into a Bass Pro Shop south of Houston to find some. I don't remember if they had the Danners, but I think they did. The problem was they had started making them offshore.
I went through every decent looking boot in Bass Pro trying to find an American made boot, and didn't find a single pair.
I don't think I've been in Bass Prod a half a dozen times in the last ten years. Every time I went I saw very little made here, and every other large chain outfit is the same.
Back in '93 we became alarmed that everything was coming from China. We tried to buy only stuff made in the USA. It was difficult to say the least.

My wife started making her own clothes recently. Getting pretty good at it too.
Sick of buying crap that doesn't fit and falls apart.
Don't give her any ideas.
I've thought about trying my hand at leather goods, but my honey-do list stretches past my eventual death already.
If I couldn't die before I used up my fabric stash, I would live to 130 at least..lol
Just so we're clear, are you saying we should be wearing our pants like Jerry Nadler, not like a normal person?
I thought the waist was where EVERYONE wore their pants.
Yes, beneath the navel
All American Clothing, American Giant, BGREEN, and Red Ants Pants. Off the top of my wife's head.... Good luck.
Go to the New Balance store on-line and ask/search for made in the USA and they will tell you which ones. She has been doing this for some time.

Higher End New Balance like 990's that are made in the US. You have to look for them. Also, Diamond Gusset for jeans and some t-shirts.

You can buy used clothes.
That is a good alternative.
Goodwill and other thrift stores always have something in stock for everyone. And your money will not be going to those lefty brands anyway.

Screw it. All conservatives should dress like we once did in the garden of Eden. Nothing at all.
Conservative women tend to be on the better looking end of the spectrum. 🤓
