Got Baptized today my brother and sisters!! Thank you SO much to all of you whose prayers, love and support helped lead our family to and show us the Love of Christ. I love all of you and as the title says: Hell Lost Another One! We ARE winning this fight and in the end, GOD WINS. We are so blessed to be a part of this movement with you Frens. Thank you and HALLELUJAH!
I’m so grateful and happy to hear that. Our church is having a baptism tonight as well at a pool nearby. This is great news! Continue to walk in His love!
Also, love the meme. That kid couldn’t get baptized fast enough. Lol.
It is really neat to see the enthusiasm in the young.
Our priest has told this story several times this year, because it has tickled him so much; there was a young girl earlier this year who was getting her first communion. She asked him if she could do another confession before the service "so I can be extra holy". Sweet.
FYI……Baptism is symbolic of the death, burial, and resurrection af Jesus for those who may not know Him. When one hears and believes that He rose from the dead, they realize they are dead in their sins and Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for them, in order to make the believer right with God.
He was buried after His crucifixion. So in baptism, we are buried with Him in baptism (you cannot live under water, and are therefore symbolically buried as He was.)
Jesus rose from the dead on the third day. When we come up out of the water in our baptism (the grave) we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit and are then sin free in God’s eyes.
Our goal forward is to try to live sin free, although we still may sin, but are continually cleansed when forgiveness is asked for and given by His grace.
This is the reason folks are baptized into Christ.
And the Lord knows I’ve got plenty of reasons to beg forgiveness. Def a long road ahead but a weight has been lifted and I’m hopeful; ready to punch this journey in the mouth, rather than have it beat me down.
Praise Him indeed. Hallelujah! (Love saying that word by the way, just feels different now, not sure if it’s placebo or what but I get chills but calm and happy)

I will never, ever tire of seeing the joy of people set free in Christ, my savior for so many years now.
I'd really like to be baptized. but I haven't even found a church I like
