I read a piece on the extreme rainfall theyre experiencing (supposedly) today, and that the 3riv gorge was, again, in danger of failure. I gave it a quick read and moved along thinking, 'they want that dam down, bigly.

Here is current day map of monthly precipitation anomaly. You can select a different day or month, or year to compare. Looks like May and April were very went across the Yangtze watershed, but June was pretty dry.

Possible, but it is typhoon season and that dam has been a disaster waiting to happen from the start. Two more weeks, maybe.
