That's new to me, and quite the coincidence! Another thing that occurred to me, Chinese being a tonal language (where meaning changes completely depending on whether you slide a syllable up, down, wavy or flat), was whether his pronunciation is actually a word in one of the Chinese languages (because, complicating things further, there is Mandarin, Cantonese... like five main and a bunch of regional). Any Chinese-speaking pedes with insight on this?
