Was thinking about the upcoming show trial. Only word that comes to mind is "why?" Why in the hell would the dems WANT to give Trump a huge public forum to air evidence of 2020 fraud? Sheer desperation to convict Trump of something to knock him out of the race? Or is there something more at work?
Doesn't strike me as a guy that has agency. Who are the two guys escorting him? Why is the announcement being made in this shitty, warehouse-grade conference room?
Would be interesting to have some law fags weigh in on how normal this press conference is. Compare it to some of these others done in much nicer facilities, backed by numerous supporting speakers:
The duct tape is holding down a cord to keep people from tripping over it. Still doesnt explain why the cord was needed if it is a room set up for a press conferences to begin with.
Why does it look like they're announcing the indictment of a President in what appear to be auxiliary trailer space, when they clearly have much nicer rooms for just this sort of event?
I can only say that in my experience with helping with setting up microphones and other electronic equipment, you try to secure them under duct tape so people don’t trip on them. All I know about the subject.
Folks I know what the duct tape is for. Please give me a bit of credit. 🤣
The point is, why figure it so prominently into the shot and utilize a shoddy space like this to announce such a significant indictment? The DoJ clearly has professional spaces for these events. They do them regularly.

I cannot unsee that fucking duct tape running down the middle of the carpet...
Also is there any reason for the white cord vs. the gold or blue I seem to see elsewhere?

Exactly.

That concept is confusing for sure.
