Help Me Anons! The Organic Act of 1871 (see link) from my reading, does not contain the words "United States Corporation.' The Act is shady AF, but where can I find the authority that Congress created a "Corporation of the United States" or "the United States Corporation." Thanks

Well that's the thing. I am a 20-year attorney. And I'm pretty good! And so I started reading the actual law. And it isn't there.
But -
• The law calls for a governor of DC to be appointed by the President ...and that's kind of weird. The law hasn't been repealed as far as I can tell but I can tell you the internet appears to be unaware of who these governors have been.
• The Civil War bankrupted the United States and there was a contemporaneous Treaty with Great Britain in 1871. All wars being bankers' wars leads me to believe there is something afoot here.
• The Organic Act of 1801 created DC. It existed. It was fine. So why was this one of 1871 needed?
• While it is expected that municipalities be incorporated ,they are all incorporated under state law. The federal government was given no power to create legal fictions.
• But not only legal fictions, the federal government has no authority to create its own state - which is exactly what the Organic Act of 1871 does to DC. It makes it into a state, albeit with difference between actual states.
Thanks for this information. I wonder if people are just using slang instead of detailing exactly what is in the act. It would appear that the act itself is probably unconstitutional. There is no "US Corporation" to dissolve, but rather, the District of Columbia was never properly authorized in the first place. Like when a court acts without proper jurisdiction.
There is a US Corporation. Its called the Virginia Company and its been heavily discussed in books written in the 1870's and newer. I have a few such books and the info in them is quite different than the info found on the internet or in Addison Wesley/Houghton Mifflin/MacMillan.......

Maybe the Virginia company as suggested here?
Which makes it sound just like the city of london, and the vatican.
The fact that your username is hugefreedomboner and you’re a 20+ year attorney somehow gives me hope for this country
