Wow they said a week, yesterday. So sad. His death was 100% avoidable. Alcohol is a demon. I danced with that devil for 20 years straight. Gave it up 12 Years ago. I guarantee I would have met the same fate had I not stop. I hope he is at peace now, because when your a raging alcoholic there is no peace.
Slippery slope, as they say. I’m glad you broke free of those clutches.
I don’t know anything about this guy other than I’ve heard of his band, but many musicians have led lives filled with too much “partying”/addiction. I’m sure, like so many others that preceded him, his loved ones would have liked it a whole lot better if there was no fame, no fortune and, instead, health and longevity. Rest In Peace, Mr Harwell. 🙏✝️
Thanks. Me too. I only know the details of his case because of an interview with his manager. Apparently he went off on a drunken rage on stage and was dismissed from the band. Addiction + loosing maybe the only thing he was passionate about made it spiral.
You may be right, but it’s also likely that an immunocompromised condition (potentially caused by the vax/booster) will exacerbate any health vulnerability one has. Even adding another health issue when your body may be grappling with other serious health issues may be the proverbial “twig that broke the camel’s back”. We don’t know, really, but in any case, 56 is pretty young to die.
I used to play that Walking on the Sun song all the time and didn't know it was about getting high until years later kek. RIP Steve

Doctor's are baffled.
He was sick for eight years.
Maybe the vax wasn't the issue.
He kept his cancer close to the chest just like Paul Rubens.
cancer, i thought it was liver failure due to alcohol.
I think that was it.
Actually not sure.
He gave a concert last week, maybe he got the new booster....

I tend to agree that it ramps up illness. Sometimes like in this case it may be hard to tell unless we know he went downhill quickly after taking it.
Hahahaha, I do not feel sorry for him. SORRY NOT SORRY!!!
