I'm no fan of this woman, but if you look closely, above her left eye it looks like there's a slice. If that's where she bled from, it kind of explains the weird distribution, assuming she also had a blunt hit to the temple area. Dried blood can look that color in my experience, and photos do enough weird things to color anyway. The photo would be after daubing the face with a towel but obviously before a full cleanup. I'm only saying it might be real, not that it is. Time will tell.
