I wondered if this was from that era. To think what we have been through since then.
O was all hopey, changey and a huge number of republicans fell for his silver tongue. He was a Manchurian candidate before Joe. The Tea Party movement was a huge backlash to his policies, and the RINOs took it over and shut it down. This was when we thought we had "Two Parties."
While they may have shut down the tea party, nothing is stopping MAGA.
I remember my frustration at feeling like I was the only one who saw right through Obama's glamour spell back when he was first installed into the Senate. He was never charismatic in my mind.
Two "parties" all right, but they are just across the street from each other. The clientele are only superficially different, while one serves margaritas and the other serves martinis. They occasionally have tiffs and grudges against each other, for trivial and transient reasons.

When did this air? During Obama or more recently?

He was removed to stem the Ron Paul tide.
I learned a lot from both those shows back then. Glenn Beck did several really good series on our history also.
IIRC, he never mad another episode. This was the final one & he was removed for telling too much truth IMO.
Glenn Beck too had a similar issue & was the guine pig for how to remove commentators that could not be controlled.
