The least amount of government is the best government. Why do we need a zillion federal agencies. Let the lawmakers write a law and then live with that vote. If you can't, then there are exit ports on all the coasts. Move to Kenya and learn their language, too.
Its been a long time since a lawmaker wrote a law. K Street writes all the laws and then shops them around to lawmakers. Those who choose to sponsor the bill get a hefty bonus from the lobbyists. These lawmakers mostly dont even know what is written in the law beyond some summary given to them by the lobbyists and thier staffers. Its all a big joke.
Nobody really writes laws anymore...too obvious what you're doing... they just 'tweak' existing laws with a little change to the language here and there slowly, patiently, until they have exactly what they want.
Seriously, look at your average bill before congress and tell me you can make sense of it without referencing five hundred existing laws that had the language altered a little bit here, a bit more over there by the act...it's opaque on purpose...

And no one gets to read them until after they are passed.
We need a new amendment - no law gets voted on that hasn't been public for at least 30 days. Make them have to plan ahead, like we do every day.
