You can have a limit sell, the same as your broker. I would not do a market sell. If you have bobby in AST it's a different ballgame.....market cell only.
Computershare takes $25.00 per transaction plus .12 cents per stock when you sell.
If you have it set up on a ACH bank wire it's about 2-3 days. Other wise they mail you a check which is about 7-10 days. I just spoke with them yesterday on this very subject.
No. These are the golden ticket shares and IMO selling out of CS is only going to hinder the rocket. I look at them as my forever shares. If you are thinking about selling out of CS because of broker fuckery, who do you think CS sends their sell orders to? Schwab sure as hell is not going to mess with stock holders but then turn around and honor and not mess with CS sell orders. If brokerages screw with us, all, even CS sell attempts, will be screwed. Sell out of your regular stock accounts.
Ah well, as long as you have a life raft in DRS youll be fine :-)
Do you ever think about selling in ComputerShare if there was a MOASS? I have no clue what would happen as it's not as easy to sell through CS.

How does this get set up?
Look around the site. People have sold test share. It doesn't hurt to sell one as practice and buy it back to see for yourself

I have the same question? It takes several days to buy, does it take several days to sell when the time comes?

All of mine but one are in computershare. After holding so long, I want my tendies.
You and me both anon...
CS sell orders do not go through brokerages from what I've read.
They are not a broker and can't sell or trade different securities....they most certainly use brokerages...

They just move them, it doesn't take three days. Sell one and find out.
