Good question. I think not because the crux of the schism is that Orthodoxy does not recognize the pope as their head. Their churches have a patriarch, but he is a member of a synod that makes decisions.
There are multiple references to the papacy in the bible. The pope is like a bad father, he may be an abusive alcoholic, but he's still the dad even if we don't respect or listen to him. The way I see it, this is MY church, not some homo commie prick that came along now in the time line. The whole church gets painted in a bad light because of him but I don't know a single Catholic that believes in any of the garbage he spews.
Understood. Years ago (40+) my husband and I tried to become Catholic. I was attracted to the litergy, the worship. We were attending classes which were concentrated on Father Pia. After the 3rd class, I cornered the teacher, a priest, to get more information about where we were headed. In my questioning, he asked if we'd been baptized or divorced. Yes to both questions. He explained we could become members but not participating members unless we secured annulments of our first marriages. Cost was at least $3000 each. Beyond our means. The irony was that years later i found out the Catholic church doesn't recognize a mormon baptism as legitimate, so ironically I could have joined. I have been rebaptized by an apostolic church.
I just did. I would judge the man makes an unassailable case. Could Roman Catholics migrate to the Eastern Orthodox Church?

This is EXACTLY WHY Martin Luther protested against the Roman Catholic Church, 500 years ago.
If you ever looked into annulment, there are many many personal sexual questions asked..... they're sick
