Normies already calling for nature to be protected from vandals, and we know visiting nature will be an "occasional treat" according to the WEF. It could be a one off, but I guess if we see more of this it could be agenda driven.

Pointless vandalism.
There is a segment of society that is just pure shit, and it is in bad need of flushing.
Vandals were great people. Very smart and agile warriors, that got Belisarius in a mood to let them go from Tunesia back the European Mainland.
These people are not even like that. These people are despicable.
I'm no lumberjack, but this doesn't look right. The tree is sooo clean cut, so far from the stump and there isn't even any sawdust.
How does that happen?
