He wasn't reported missing until around 7:46 pm, conveniently after the sun went down, making it nearly impossible for the rescue divers and pilots to locate him until the following morning (if reports are true).
"Campbell drowned the night of July 23 and was found by a rescue boat with side sonar and pulled from the water the next morning."
However they did find his clothes, 'separate from his body', but he was reportedly described as wearing 'all black' when he went under. Does that mean his birthday suit, I wonder?
