Not 'hang-gliders' (aka parachutes) but paragliders. Self-propelled (think small motor with a big fan. They can take off and land from the ground.
From what I've seen/heard, it seemed to be more of an outdoor, open air theater. Not an actual stadium.
paraplane = modified paraglider + motor
...but usually have a canopy trimmed for powered flight

Well yeah, but the question was, where did they launch from?
I found some video of the Hamas paragliders which shows them taking off from a field rather than being dropped out of an airborne plane. Video is only 35 seconds long, but seems to show one and two man crews. Some paragliders had propellers and lawnmower engines mounted on wheels (see 0:22) and some paragliders had them mounted directly on the back of fighters (see 0:26).

I expect they launched from within Israel, not Palestine, that’s why the iron dome didn’t go off and there was no need to shut it down. Explains also why the pilots and shooters had masks. We all know it was a false flag to justify levelling Gaza.

They were in tandem paramoters. On guy flies the other had his AK shooting people on the ground.
It wouldn't matter if they had a machine gun. They fly in a straight line, and it is easy as hell to hit things that cannot maneuver quickly with a rifle. Even a bolt action could have filled them with holes, and Israel had three days warning they were coming.
Are they really 'real', tho? They looked a little like those parachute army guys we used to get at birthday parties...just sayin.

Tricycle with wheels and propeller in the back
Propeller attaches as backpack to the pilot
