He was a college student who appeared to be very clean cut and conservative. Americans for Prosperity are Never Trumpers who claim if Trump is the candidate Joe Biden will win in a landslide. I spent about 5 minutes talking to him and I bet he no longer works for them. I will detail our conversation in the comments.

When I answered the door, he stated he was with Americans for Prosperity and before he could finish, I blurted out "Americans for Prosperity, you've got to be shitting me". He continued telling me they were conservatives that want to beat Joe Biden. I told him he was insane to work for somebody trying to beat President Trump. He gives the pitch that if Trump runs it will energize Democrats and demoralize Republicans. Keep in mind he had to walk past my car with 2 Trump car window flags on it to get to the door.
I asked him if he knew who he was working for in reality and he said Republican conservatives. I told him he was working for the Joe Biden campaign, and he seemed shocked to hear that. He argued they were trying to beat Biden. I told him to do some research of his own and if he continued working for them, he had serios mental illness. He says he is just trying to make some money to help pay for college. I asked what good a college degree would do him if he couldn't afford food or gas.
I had one of these young bucks come to my door trying to sell solar. He was allowed to get part way through his pitch when the simple question was put forward to him: What good are solar panels when they are trying to block the sun with geoengineering? He was speechless. The look on his face was priceless.
Remember, most all of these young people only know narratives and a script. Once you can interject some question that forces any level of critical thinking, you have planted a seed of doubt. You break the spell.
I liked the "break the spell" comment. It is exactly what you did to this non-thinker who is no doubt completely brainwashed.
I had the solar panels guy in my house a while back. Trying to convince me that spending $51K on solar panels was a good investment. My annual electric bill in 2022 was $2K. I asked him how spending $51K to save $2K per year made any sense. He had no answer other than he was getting paid to sell solar panels, and that's what he was going to do.
No kidding. How any of that green BS agenda makes any financial sense boggles the mind - but yet there are those that buy into it every day.
To consider it a good ''investment'' it would take 25 years, and putting it in a scenario where the electricity bill is expensive, I can't imagine that when electricity prices go down it would take more than 50 years to consider it a good investment.
Nice!
This is the way.
Beyond holding the line, but delivering on the pushback. Good job anon!
Mormonism cracks me up. There were no horses nor fields of wheat in North America until the Spaniards came. Indians did not have swords and chariots either. The whole thing is a sham and I can forgive the first generation of dupes who bought into it. Nobody at the time had heard of the Rosetta Stone, so Smith could have claimed anything about the Egyptian Book of the Dead and nobody would have been the wiser. In this day and age though, just a bit of research and common sense can help anyone see through that con job. If the LDS church really believed their own crap, all they would have to do is start a bit of an archaeological dig at the Hill Cumorah where butthundred godzillion people supposedly died in an epic battle on that tiny little hill. Dig up those ancient American swords and chariots and prove us all wrong. They won't.
Or just have them watch the South Park video.
Still, they’re better at following a lot of Christian tenets than a lot of Christians are. Give em their credit.
I've had a few former Mormons join my church.
Their families disowned them. It's a bad cult and the social pressures put on their members is extreme. They have had a hundred years to practice these pressures. They do lose a lot of members, but their evil is adequate enough that they are still growing.
Of course the leaders of the "church" don't believe their own crap. They couldn't keep up the lies if they did.
The young men don't know any of this yet. The older men either choose not to know or choose not to do anything about it.
Yeah, it's a cult. They actively encourage divorcing spouses who leave the church. They are told to disown their own family members. I've known a few ex-Mormons who have lost their families as a result of becoming Christian. That's the sad thing about them claiming to be "Christian." That's what they say, but if one of them becomes Christian, they disown him/her. JWs are the same.
The thing about Watchtower/JWs is that every time their Watchtower predicts Christ's return and it doesn't happen, they strike it from the record and pretend it never happened. In this day of internet connection though, information cannot be so easily controlled as it was a hundred years ago.
Tell me about Americans for Prosperity. I’m for Trump, too, and I didn’t realize this group was working for the Biden campaign. Did you mean this literally or essentially?
They claim to be conservative Republicans. They state that if Trump is the nominee that Joe Biden will win in a landslide because it will energize Dems. During that statement in their commercials, they show crowds of people like you would see at a Trump Rally holding signs that say "AMERICA". Those people are supposed to represent the energized Dem voters that will vote Joe in a landslide.
Anybody with an IQ above 70 knows this is a Democrat supporting organization. They claim if Trump is NOT the nominee that a different Republican will win because Dem voters won't be energized enough to vote in 2024. So, my summation is that AFP is LITTERALLY working for Biden.
