My Frens,
You might think I’m crazy, and that doesn’t mean I’m not, but I’m going to discuss this theory.
It’s POSSIBLE that the “open border” here in the US is a good thing and part of the plan by the “good guys.”
OK, put down your sticks and stones and hear me out.
Let’s just think about this. How difficult would it be to apprehend terrorists and “bad guys” if they would otherwise be running around the world? Well, that would take a lot or resources and time; bottom line, it would be nearly impossible. Also, it’s probably hard, if not impossible, to prosecute them for terrorism. However, by opening up our border, it’s attracting these “bad guys’ and therefore much easier to apprehend them when they come to you. So, you say, that’s putting the US citizens in jeopardy. Well, where else on Earth are there as many guns and trained gun owners than here? There are (at last estimates) 400M guns and 72M gun owners here in the US. That’s a damn big army! So, does it sound like a great and easy way to apprehend terrorists? It’s pretty simple to charge them with immigration violations. I don’t care WHY they're in prison, just THAT they’re in prison.
This strategy would require some serious planning. Hmmm, sounds like a “plan.”
So, in a convoluted yet logical way, it’s POSSIBLE that the “open border” here in the US is a good thing and part of the plan by the “good guys.”
Disagree. The only way to truly solve the problem and not half ass it, is a deportation operation like we have never seen before. And this was before Biden. Already we had anywhere from 11-33 million illegals.
The only way to pull off something so big, is to get as many citizens as possible on board with it. The only way to do that, is to show them just how bad the problem is, and what it does to your community. Especially democrats. They never seem to care about anything, until it affects them personally.
We now have black Chicago democrats publicly protesting their own idiot Mayor on a weekly basis and demanding an end to sanctuary city status. They are furious, and rightly so. They are on board.
The stage is now set for the kind of mass deportation that is needed to truly reset the problem, and to truly make securing the border a national security interest. Trump has already said he is going to create a deportation operation bigger than anyone has ever seen. He has said he is going to use national emergency orders to deploy the military to the border. In order to do that, the fake news and establishment had to be defeated in the optics game. The only way to do that, is to show people with their own eyes just how bad it is.
We already had 10-30 million illegals and a broken border. We already needed massive deportation like we have never seen. Now, Trump has enough of the public on board to actually do it. He’s got black democrats off their ass and in the street with signs protesting illegal immigration in their city. That was the goal of allowing it to get this bad. Optics.
My buddy was in Vermont during the “summer of love” and commented on how beautiful people kept their yards and towns looked amazing. He saw a lot of BLM signs though. I asked him how many Blacks and Hispanics he saw while he was there. “None”, he answered.
My point here is not to claim all blacks and Hispanics are horrible because they do not take care of their yard but that they have a different value system and culture and many believe the media lies that white people are to blame for any economic or other issues they may have.
How many signs would he see if thousands of black and Hispanic migrant men that blamed whites were sent to live in their pristine town?
to summarize the attitude of many Vermont Liberals:
BLM J NIMBY

Third most white state in the country. The BLM yard sign people love diversity, just not in their back yard...
Vermonter here. Yes, it is a gorgeous place and we all live close to nature, away from the small "cities" like Rutland and Burlington. I think non whites are like 5%, which was a big shock to me when I moved here in '86. Transplants, as we are called, are a huge part of the population, and most of us moved here to enjoy rural life, most of us do not want to see "development". Once you move to a simple rural lifestyle, without all the distractions of urban areas, you have a lot of time on your hands and outdoor activities, such as gardening, homesteading, hiking, paddling, fishing, hunting, are what we do with all that time. Another thing to do with our spare time, in many cases, is to get swept up in national affairs that do not effect us at all. The BLM thing was a fad, I think. Something to rally around in the town square, more social than political, after long hard winters, almost anything will bring the folks together, peace rallies, climate rallies, gatherings for "racial justice", I would wager that you could get people to put " Stop the Jelly, I support Jam" signs on their lawns if their friends were. I have to say that there is more political division now since Bernie ran for President, he is loved deeply by most people, and not due to his leftist policies but because of his support of Veterans, before he got to running for President, he is true to his dedication to Veterans, and there are a lot of them here. Since fentanyl has struck our state, and since 100% of those are arrested for trafficking drugs, causing murders, are black and brown with latin last names, the attitudes are changing. White majorities are never threatened here due to a few things, the work ethic and self reliance and less dependence on government is VERY strong here. Even with the floods this past summer, the communities and local support was up and running before the Feds came in. The other thing is the cold. We do cold and snow better than any other state, and typically, those whose ancestors came from warmer climes cannot tolerate it. A month like February can go every day with the temp never getting above 10 degrees. It's like that wall in Game of Thrones. People were niave as to what BLM stood for, initially, and in the whitest state of the nation, people wanted to assure themselves they are not racist. It was a knee jerk reaction to show support of a rhetoric based on a construct. Its stick season now, all the leaves that bring tourists are gone, deer season is almost upon us, politics be damned, time to get the house and barn ready for winter and put up food for the winter and get the warm clothing out and pack away the shorts and sandals, nobody got time for that other stuff.

But in a Nutshell
Open border draws terrorists to US, rather than having to hunt the planet for THEM
We do mass deportation
Back out they go, all over the world again
If they aren't killed, what was accomplished?
What was accomplished is you catch a huge cadre of gang members that are then relocated to a prison in South America.
I didn't downvote, but...
Maybe the same prison that released them into the US in the first place?
I don't trust any government anymore ever to do the right thing. Ever. If they do the right thing occasionally, I say IF—then they do it despite my distrust, which they have so richly earned.
With astonishingly few exceptions, politicians and bureaucrats are the very worst of the bad people among us. That's who wants those positions of power over other humans, power that they can then abuse.
I agree with this take. Sometimes you have to lean into the enemy's plans and redirect it so it backfires. I'm learning much tzu from all this.
You're correct about the immigrants. My post discusses what the Good Guys inherited. That it's possible that they are "making lemon aid out of lemons. " My post was not about the immigrants, rather it's about trapping the terrorists.
It won't cost nearly as much as paying for all the welfare babies aka 'new citizens" when folks begin to breed to stay.
