I don't particularly care for the guy, but what he is reporting may be true. I know people from Acapulco and they have not been able to make contact with family still living there. There is scant video of the aftermath. I have been looking since it happened. I was also watching on radar in real time when this thing intensified - not the National Weather Service. Not sure what is going on here - but there is something amiss. A previous post linked another site with different numbers from what I was watching through College of DuPage and I was seeing a completely different picture.
This sure provides impetus for contrived weather weaponization. Never heard of no warning and a storm within hours turning into a category 5 hurricane before.
Maybe if the Gov. of Mex. was Not so corrupt, other countries would respond for help.
I'm not familiar with this gentleman or his group but here's where you can find updates: https://hurricaneotisrecovery.com/
No video from his team?

Thanks Took a metal roof off. Did you notice to the left? Looks like a structure with a composition roof intact.
Sorry but I'm calling bullshit. I tracked that Hurricane at landfall, and never saw ground level winds above 48 mph.
When weather service reports maximum sustained winds, that is the wind speed at above 750 m. usually around 1000 m.
Here is windspeed at 1000m near landfall. https://www.ventusky.com/?p=16.24;-97.65;6&l=wind-900hpa&t=20231025/0000
Here is 10m https://www.ventusky.com/?p=16.24;-97.65;6&l=wind-10m&t=20231025/0000
Most all of Acapulco is no higher than 76m, and towns in the inland area max is around 375m.
Disclaimer: If Ventusky is wrong, then I can be too.
Isn't that Dollar Vigilante? Any other sites reporting on this? That's crazy if true.

Yes that's him. I saw a brief mention of Acapulco on MSNBC today but no in-depth reporting.
Acapulco used to be a tourist trap until the Gulf Cartel took over a few years back. Now that place is as dangerous as any other cartel-run city.
