PS A much loved uncle who was living in Cornwall slipped on the ice and broke his ankle. Very fit and healthy BUT he never left the hospital and his wife and children were never allowed any visits AND his funeral was delayed for months. His death would undoubtedly have been recorded as covid. LOCKDOWNS created the perfect cover for removing the elderly with no one to SEE.

At a Tuesday hearing as part of the government’s inquest into Covid-19, notes from Johnson’s top science adviser, Patrick Vallance, were shared, which detailed what the aide viewed as Johnson’s “obsession” with older people accepting risks as they related to the potentially fatal virus.
The notes, dated from August 2020, detailed Vallance’s opinion that Johnson was keen to let “the young get on with life and [keep] the economy going” – which Vallance described at the time as a “quite bonkers set of exchanges.”
Vallance added in the notes: “[Johnson] says his party ‘thinks the whole thing is pathetic and Covid is just nature’s way of dealing with old people, and I am not entirely sure I disagree with them. A lot of moderate people think it is a bit too much.’ [He] wants to rely on polling.”
The notes were shared during evidence given to the UK Covid-19 inquiry by Johnson’s former director of communications, Lee Cain, as part of the independent investigation into London’s response to the pandemic.
I think this is out of context to some degree. The plan was 'shelter in place' ie if you get covid stay home. Just the same as if you get flu you stay home whilst the rest get on with life. ie no lockdowns, no masks, no restrictions, schools not closed etc etc.
This was the approach of the Great Barrington Declaration.
Boris then caved - as he does with most things, he wants to be popular all the time - but this just makes him stupid. Build Back Better, Net Zero, energy sanctions against Russia etc.
For me he is/was a great disappointment but on this matter he was actually right.
I doubt if they have the funds available, the Insurance and pension contributions that were taken from the Elderly/Retired throughout their lives has been spent, no investments were made to ensure they could meet the Crown's pension and healthcare obligations. Even if it's allocated and budgeted(vapourware), it still needs to be borrowed.
It's cheaper to kill off as many of their "obligations" as they could, so that's what they were deliberately doing and even now they are still energetically pushing their kill-shots, I am regularly reminded that I qualify for free boosters and flu shots, via spam text messages. I am unvaxxed and will remain that way. I just hope that I never need a blood transfusion, I need a new hip but I am enduring the pain and it's limitations, pending a resolution to the pure blood transfusion issue.

The real problem is he lacked adequate leadership to stick to his guns. Lockdowns were a mistake, so his instinct was right.
