You can use a browser extension to show the dislikes on desktop

But many don't bother clicking dislike anyways because it doesn't have the same effect anymore, so it's still going to be skewed towards likes.

The problem is that you have to log in to You Tube/Google to leave a like or dislike, and I refuse to get a gmail account. So the likes/dislikes could be much higher.
