And MAGA seems to be the only political force that is standing up to crony capitalism. Conservative Inc and the shitlibs continue to embrace it. The same people who rant online about how evil capitalism is will do so on their Shiny Object 15 while sitting in Seattle Illuminati Coffee wearing designer clothing.
"Capitalism" - the concept of economics that was mainstreamed by Marx.
"Capitalism" focuses on concentration of capital, as if economic activity itself is devoid of any human element.
"Free market economy" focuses on the choices and ability of participants in the economy to make their own choices, both producers and consumers, facilitating the development and rise of those things that most serve peoples needs. Freedom to choose how you vote with your money.
"Free Market Economy" beats "Capitalism" every day of the week, and twice on Sunday, when it comes to describing the opposite of Socialism.
Oligarchy is another form of destruction of economic freedom, and its what socialists and Marxist are actually thinking about when they say "Capitalism".
At least at the moment. Unless someone invents a brilliant new idea or somehow is able to enable a post scarcity society overnight.
No matter what you do. Your always going to need people at the bottom. Ergo “The Poor”. To put it bluntly. Someone is going to need to fill the role of laborer, Burger Flipper, Retail Worker etc.
There’s certainly a conversation that can be had about improving their lot. I was in the proverbial trenches of Retail. Lord knows quite a few large companies abuse the shit out of their low wage staff. Especially the ones who have precious few options and opportunities to advance past that kind of employment. I should know. I worked for a few of those companies. I however was “Just passing through” as it were and it wasn’t a career.
Met plenty of fine people who frankly for one reason or another got trapped in the mire. Ex-Cons who struggle to find jobs elsewhere, People who made a variety of Stupid mistakes as Teens, unplanned pregnancies/families, physical or mental disabilities, Elderly folks who due to unexpected costs or medical problems required them to leave retirement for insurance coverage etc.
As to the abuses. Power tripping and abusive managers who aren’t removed despite reports, deliberate cuts to benefits packages despite record setting quarters(The amount of times I’ve seen Elderly people cry after finding out the insurance covering their prescriptions was part of company cuts is disheartening) , unreasonable and inflexible schedules making it difficult for employees to seek out education and training for alternative jobs, completely unrealistic quotas and expectations. The List goes on.
Socialism however hasn’t proved to be a functional answer anytime it’s been tried before. And it’d be the height of insanity to try it given its record of failure.
Hey, I know: Let's tell people we'll give money to people who don't work and who don't create any wealth, and to make that possible we'll penalize the Hell out of people who DO create wealth. You know: "take from the rich and give to the poor."
That'll put a stop to wealth creation, of course -- eventually -- but along the way, WE will keep directing more and more of the money from the wealth-producers to OURSELVES, until the whole thing collapses.
Then we rule the peasants from behind our wealthy walled city! What'dya think?
To be fair, the top left picture is crony capitalism, profiteering, etc. Which is kind of how it is now.
I think it's because socialists are trying to push people into socialism, and making people think crony capitalism is how capitalism is

Never works, not once, anywhere.
Is this "Loss"?
I don't get the bottom right. Why the arrow on the people block? On their way out??
To an interment camp or out right killed by the government.
Right. Thanks👍
