What is their primary goal of this content? It is disguised as "clickbait" but the real purpose, I believe, is to inject in to the truth sphere easily debunkable fake stories that undiscerning newbie (and some oldies, apparently) truth seekers will lap up and spread, so that the FACT CHECKING network aka Politifact, AP, Reuters, etc, can all easily debunk the claims and use this to divert the normie population away from actual real truth.
"What? You say that WEF is attempting to enslave the world? Sure. I saw that story about who Putin was going to kill them as military targets, too. Bulldust. You're just a conspiracy theorist."

Information warfare. Discernment. This is an old but effective tactic for sure.

Exactly. If he were a real military target we would never know. That kind of thing is never advertised, especially before the fact.
