Just for fun I looked up the deductibles on the "low cost" bronze plan. 0$ a month, what a deal, welllllll, your deductible is roughly 7000-13000 out of pocket before insurance kicks in.

There needs to be either some major changes to the program(s) or it needs to be gutted completely and rethought. I have a friend in Alaska with multiple extreme medical needs who cannot get a medical insurance plan because "Alaska doesn't offer any." Not one program. What????

I'm not all that convinced. President Trump promised to repeal and replace it as soon as he got in office the first time, and it never happened.
The Republicans had 4 years (I think 10 years total, after ObamaCare was passed) to come up with a better plan and never did. And it can't be blamed on Democrats blocking it, because Republicans held the House, the Senate, and the White House the first two years Trump was in office.
I don't see what's going to be different this time around. The Republicans are still just as worthless now as they were then.
Well, the cost overrun was probably expected from Conservatives, but the full cost was projected by the agency that does it, can't remember their name at the moment, but they were not in line with Obama's estimate. Then a couple years later, his team and he were laughing about what was advertised-if you all remember that.
