They will soon be getting a visit from the Space Force “experimental” X-37B, and up close imaging and pictures taken im sure. That thing was up there for 2 years straight. They just bring it down to refuel and maintain it and send it right back up.
If you don’t think we are actively investigating and cataloguing everything up there from our enemies, that’s just naive. Of course we are. It’s classified to the tits and always will be, but you know it’s happening. Gotta know where their stuff is, and what it is, in case we need to destroy it. It’s called a “space plane” for a reason. It has freedom of movement. It’s a fancy drone.
Whatever the Chinese are putting up there, someone somewhere in space force knows exactly what it is and likely has pictures of it.
Starlink is probably probing, fingering, and imaging all of these objects. There are now more starlink satellites up there operating than the rest of the world combined
Could be satellite hunter/killer devices as well? That would be China blackhats prepositioning weapons for a possible future attempt to thwart Elon's starlink capabilities? I have absolutely nothing to base this on, just spitballin here trying to think outside the box a bit.
Can you refer me to any "world space treaties" that prohibit satellite hunters? I used to design orbital weapons and no such treaties were ever mentioned as a constraint.
There's the outer space treaty , OOSA, and others. What is forbidden is hostile damaging of satellites that cause debris to interfere with other objects on orbit or potential harm to people on the ground
The Outer Space Treaty is old news. The only prohibition is the placement of "nuclear weapons or other weapons of mass destruction" in orbit. And, "States shall be liable for damage caused by their space objects..."
The treaty therefore prohibits a Fractional Orbit Bombing System (FOBS).

We certainly hope so...

Balloons? 🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈
No, more like barroons.
"Are these spy devices"....YES.

Sat hunting (destroying) violates world space treaties (as if anyone follows them) but sabotage is A-OK

But like I said, DS don't follow that shit
BTW I used to build satellites too

I'll put $20 on China-updated (stolen) Russian hunter-killer satellites.
Equipment for rigging the next election or internet solar flare.
Signal jamming emitters?
OBJECT D and E, meanwhile, appear to be emitting idle "placeholder" signals with no data accompanying them.
