Apart from the weird picture, which is not what drone warfare looks like, Wu has a point.
I have been wondering about how drone technologies could be used or abused in this border situation. It could be quite scary if the whole border becomes a no-mans land that is patrolled and surveilled with armed drones, just as the Ukro-Russian front-line.
What about terrorists using drones, now that all one needs, is a couple of thousands dollars and a 3d printer? What of the Americans guarding USA then? We are not talking about fire-power superiority anymore, but creativity and enginuity.
I think that was my point. The gray zone and extensively trenched frontlines in Donbass are the hot example of a border, around industrial and mining cities and urban areas. So they are an extreme example, if you like. But then, so is the mass-migration occurring on the border (s) an extreme.
However, it is my opinion that warfare has gone almost medieval in the way it is suddenly carving itself into the face of the Earth along natural boundaries, high spots for communication purposes, and the precise targeting that comes with it. It is suddenly the case that trampers find ancient theodolites and tunnels dug by early Christians. The patterns and maps of our civilizations were bold and clear in the twentieth Century, as if someone drew it with a set of colored pencils (They prolly did, akshully, given that they halved or quartered some peoples arbitrarily and granted themselves sovereignty over impoverished tribesmen to enrich themselves, etc.). Some of their designs even had Roman squares, starforts, etc. to project their power. Now, the best hide is within the Earth, like a Pict.
The all-seeing live-streamed and connected generation is hitting 3d printers with wondrous materials. They can set up in any bunker, tunnel, cave or whatever, with a wee solar panel or even a generator. The more invisible from above, the better. A tiny camper-van painted in camo, with some netting. Gee. I don't know, and a golf-cart with cope-netting?
Cappadocia anyone?
I believe there exists already a tunnel network under the border.
Fuck Wu
He is now an enemy combatant if he wasn’t before.
I’m seriously disappointed that Texas was not on that list.
Fuck Wu
FUCK WU

If that is what it takes to secure the border so be it. Just DO IT!

Wu needs to get back to his heritage where THAT is legal!
This is as bad as when Swalwell threatened to nuke Americans who refuse to give up their guns.
I think he will be whack a moled by an illegal soon.
