This dummie is such a natural-born Communist.
I'm against shrinkflaton too.
I want a leader with a full brain not this pea-brained idiot or his shit for brains VP.
I'm against blaming the vendors.
It's the fucking worthless Rothschild dollar.
and an actual leader, not a puppet for others to push globalist commie agendas..
BUT THE WATER WAS COLD! THERE WAS SHRINKAGE! 😫
It had to be said.
So, the solution is to make the packaging bigger, thus increasing the cost, and making products even more out of reach for the average household.
Way to go, Joe.
While shrinkflation is annoying AF I agree, the reason Biden is annoyed with it is because, too many people can still afford to buy things. Prices are up, companies started shrinking them and packaging to cut costs for popular selling items, if they did not do so, those items would cost a LOT more right now and instead of affording some, many could afford none at all. The problem is not ShrinkFlation (while annoying) it is INFLATION. Biden team just found something to distract as a boogieman is all. IMO, certain items can stay smaller, they are very unhealthy to be eating to begin with. What you can NOT shrinkflation is an 8oz steak, eggs, milk, fresh fruit and veggies and the like.. you know REAL food. Chicken can be shrunk since they have the hens super and artificially bloated to begin with, smaller chicken breasts are more natural and better for people IMO. hah. Unless, you live in China. They have a real problem with fake meat products and even fake eggs, rice, noodles and fake tofu! We all need regulations on meat products IMO, to make sure if you buy a steak, it is actually, real beef cut from a cow as is, no stitched together junk. HRMPH.
Prices, in terms of value, are the same. The currency sucks.
True, value of the dollar is down so you need more of it to buy something. Pretty soon, we all will be burning stacks of paper cash in bins to keep warm because, it will be useless for anything else.
He is talking about the size/portion of snacks like ii's a new thing. If he were poor or middle income like most of us, he would know companies have been doing that same thing for decades. Maybe they need to do that because their costs are up. Let me see, should I change the portion so people can still buy it or should I lay some people off. What an out of touch tool this nitwit is. The whole world is suffering in way or another and he is talking about potato chips.
If is is junk food, it is actually better, but still need self control to limit to one service bag, I end up eating two bags of chips.
I first specifically noticed this happening during the Carter administration, in particular with candy bars. The price went from 15 cents to 20 cents, but the candy bars' labels said they were still the same size. Then after awhile they would decrease the size, and the labels would say they were still the same price. They did this repeatedly until they were 50 cents at the end of my store days. I assume the same thing is still happening, but mostly without those signaling labels.
Manufacturers should immediately restore pre-Biden packaging, put actual current prices, but break it out on the label: 2019 price , Biden era inflation , new total.
