Doing only inflation would be too obvious, and doing without it would inflict transparent pain and (more importantly for them) cause awareness that they'd rather avoid. Parasites prefer that the host not notice.

To me it's more an issue that they spend it on things we are patently against, like the wars. We say No! And they say F you as they send hundreds of billions.
I recently saw some people who are Constitutionalists say that we've all been duped and that income tax is voluntary anyway. And according to them, you can 'unvolunteer' and stop paying. They had a system for doing so.
You can do this and win, but you must be prepared to go to jail and know the laws to win. Cases that do win are NOT reported.
Well, they insisted one could win on Constitutional grounds because the income tax is unconstitutional in the first place. I don't know anybody who has done it, but apparently there are some people, including former IRS employees who became whistleblower.
