Their punishment willbe worse than having a millstone placed on their neck and that they then be tossed into the depths of the sea. Maybe not with the local court system, but with the judgement to come.
A Greenville County undercover operation targeting child sex crimes and human trafficking netted 45 arrests.
One year later, none of the people arrested are still in custody.
Roughly one-third of those arrests involved child sex crimes or human trafficking while the others charged in the operation faced prostitution or drug charges.
Out of the 45 arrested, 17 people were convicted, court records show. Of those, three offenders were sentenced to time in jail and one was given a nine-month prison sentence while the others were sentenced to probation or forced to pay a fine.
All of those arrested are back in society either through dismissals, bond agreements while charges are pending or after convictions with short sentences that have already been completed.
Law-enforcement leaders said that no matter the court outcomes, such operations serve as a deterrent. They give warning to offenders that the supposed children they're finding online could be law enforcement in reality, law-enforcement leaders say. So even if offenders are not in custody, operations such as Millstone may make others think twice about whom they are chatting with, said Capt. James Beaver, who heads the Sheriff's Office's special investigations division, which runs the Internet Crimes Against Children unit.
Court records show that 23 out of the 70 charges filed in total were dismissed. Some suspects pleaded guilty to one charge while having their remaining charges dismissed. Some had their charges dismissed by completing a pretrial intervention program while others had their record expunged entirely.
"... Out of the 45 arrests, 14 were identified as child predators, 10 were accused of prostitution, 17 were accused of soliciting sex from prostitutes and two were accused of human trafficking. Two more suspects identified in the operation were charged with drug crimes. ...
Another case involved a suspect who wanted to cannibalize the victim, Lewis said.

The title of this post says that "45 Cannibal Pedophiles Arrested". As far as I can tell there was ONE. Granted, one is one too many, but calling this post out as misleading is not uncalled for. Yes, there was a sting in SC. Yes, there were arrests made. Yes, there was intended cannibalism involved. But it was ONE individual, not FORTY-FIVE cannibals.
Are we sure this actually occurred? I'm not seeing any other source for this alleged crime. Is a white checkmark a valid X account? This may be a troll. If you have a source for this having actually occurred I'll look into it.

Edit: The People's Voice is a click bait fake site, friends.
Oh, six years ago. The only "current "source" I could find was The People's Voice and that appears to be a click bait fake site as far as I can tell.
I just read your article link and it was a long sting operation involving adults and children and just one of the perps was into cannibalism. The title infers there were 45 cannibalistic pedophiles that were swept up in the sting. So technically I'm wrong. There was a sting operation, just NOT 45 cannibal pedophiles. Apologies.
I didn't know the Hillary Clinton campaign was in South Carolina today.
kek
I'd be legit surprised if they WERE Clinton Foundation employees
Or Disney

Fake news, anon.
Edit: Apologies. See my comments below. There was a sting six years ago, but there weren't 45 cannibal pedophiles, just one.
Why do you say it is fake news? It is not. It just isn't 'fresh'. It occurred in 2018. See:
