Why did his ancient mother cling to the throne for so long? Why did not she abdicate in favor of her son, when she was old and he was young?? It is all TOO absurd to be believable! What did that old "queen" have to offer her "subjects" her "kingdom" for the past several decades?? NOTHING! She didn't even look like a queen in her shriveled old age.
Why did she deny her own son to be King? until he was way too old . . .
I believe she wanted to punish him for what she was accused of when he got Diana killed, but also for his disgraceful complicity with the knighted Jimmy Saville. He was first in line, so more delicate to handle than his younger brother Andrew.
Good point, fren! But how did she think she was better? As a desiccated old dried up remnant of a line that had been corrupt for generations? Heck the British Crown has had no real legitimacy for centuries, b/c they killed off legitimate heirs! Time and again! And brought in Protestants from Germany rather the Catholic heirs.
The entire British Monarchy is a farce.
A nasty farce.

I believe this fit your description.
Alles guet, WaffeFrou!🤗💐
People respected her, thought Chuckie was a joke - many still do.
Savile had free access to ALL the royal households, not just St James'. Chuckie had been groomed from an early age by his uncle Lord Mountbatten, who had a very dodgy sexual history.
Victoria effectively did the same thing to Edward VII.
Disinheriting the "legitimate" heir seems to be a pattern. There really IS no legitimate "heir" to the British crown! which has been corrupted by intrigue and assassinations for centuries.
Time for this farce to end.
After the shock of Uncle David's (King Edward VIII) abdication in 1936, there is no way any of them would abdicate again. But yes, the queen could have stepped back more than she did and let Charles take on more royal duties. I think she knew he really wasn't fit for it so she hung on as long as she could.
I'm also hanging on to the belief that Queen Elizabeth II was not one of the evil ones. Trump liked her and said she reminded him of his mother (who was born in Scotland.) I don't think he would say that if she was one of the bad ones.
What are the Royal duties anyway?
I don't think he was/is as well liked as she (the Queen) was.
If you speak to people living in England, they preferred the Queen over Charles. I know a few that live there.
