I actually know someone who's a freemason. From what I understand, they are conservative. Does this mean that it's only a certain elite sect of freemasons that are bad? Or should I assume this guy is also aligned with the bad stuff?
Much like most organizations, the lower rungs have no idea what the upper echelon is up to by any capacity. Look at the Hell's Angels, they do charity work but what do they do on the back side? Freemasonry is evil and aligned with the forces of darkness. Anyone arguing otherwise is either poorly informed or part of the club to which they've sworn an oath on their life to maintain its secrets.
I was a Freemason - I resigned more than 20 years ago, the regular members are not generally involved or aware of what happens at the top of the order. It's a classic case of hiding in the crowd. The regular members also pay for everything. Those at the top are the real problem.
I have a childhood friend who is now a Mason. He runs a prominent Masonic podcast and speaks about esoteric and masonic principles, secret societies, hermeticism, etc at different lodges and events. He has also tried to recruit me in the past. What would be the chances that he is unaware that he serves Lucifer? It seems like with how much research he does into the occult that he must know.
The Primary objective of Freemasons is to re-build the Temple of David in it's original site in Jerusalem. Every meeting that I attended had a cash collection to support that objective. What/How/Who etc are dots that I connected and I considered the implications, but I can't comment about how curious your friend might be or what conclusions he may hold.
