I can't see what legitimare interest the US could possibly have in Haiti. Money laundering through 'humanitarian aid" is the only reason I can figure for any American presence there at all.

I thought the gold from Haiti was simply gold laundered from Libya given the timing of a Clinton cronie starting a gold company there not long before they killed Gaddafi.
