Pleae forgive me, i am ignorant to new movies and hollywood as a whole, however tonight i have sat down to watch the newer wonka movie. It is completely a documentary about small businesses in America.
Even if they didnt mean to make it that way, which i highly doubt they didnt, it is.
You have the small business owner immediatley starting off in a neraly insurmountable debt, having a great product that all other companies want. Instead of simply trying to make their product better, they try to sabotage and bring down the superior product.
They pay the right people off, making them fat with cash, to bring hell upon these companies. I havent finished it yet, but there is alot behind this whimsical musical movie.
I may be off the rails, but its all here.
This is funny, because on Roku, it was featured on the homepage. I looked at my mom, and I said… Here’s another movie they ruined. 😂😂😂. Maybe not huh?
It wasn't the best movie ever or anything, but the message they are sending out I was definitely not expecting.
I remember hearing similarly from one of the Badlands guys. A couple weeks back on Badlands Story Hour they did "Barbie", it's woke but they were going into how it both gives insight into the minds of these crazy women but also how (and I've heard this before) it's an accidental men's rights film with the whole "Kensurrection" subplot. They also talked about how the writers try to play it as horror how fast most of the Barbies revert into tradwife mode just from the Kens suddenly acting like normal assertive men only to get annoyed that many Zoomer viewers found that appealing instead and sympathized with Ken.
Man, the Barbie movie was an ultimate troll against the liberals. It flew over many of their heads, but it pretty much made the case against feminism.
Wait, I thought the Barbie movie was totally woke, it wasn’t? I haven’t seen ir because if it. Maybe I should watch it now.
See its really hard to explain. It is indeed meant to be woke, but they do it in such an exaggerated silly fashion that it comes across as a slap on the face of the woke and ends up resulting in a movie that sends the exact opposite message.
Yeah, the intention is woke AF but it's so absurd it turns into a satire.
I haven't seen that badlands, and I must admit there is no chance of me watching barbie, however I do believe people can have different interpretations of nearly anything. And I think writers know how to take advantage of this.
I think all the "this movie is woke reviews" for Wonka waa so people didn't watch. Now is it revolutionary or anything, no. Honestly, most people that don't understand what is going on, wouldn't pick up on it. However, this is where the writers strike gold with people like me.
I think I had read that the new Goosebumps series on Disney+ was woke, but it turned out to be one gay character that wasn't even that in-your-face. I didn't care for the gay kiss, but the character being gay was reasonably low-key and mostly well-done. I think people here go overboard.
I described Disney's Wish to my wife based on what I had read here and heard in YouTube videos, but my wife watched it and said I wasn't even close. Still sounds like a bad movie from what she told me, but it seems the info I received was exaggerated.
A couple of years ago I had to defend the TV show Full House in a thread here when someone said it was full of pedophile and pizza references. I know that show very well and it is very much not full of pedophile references and pizza is shown maybe twice in eight seasons. Once for sure in the first season. A large panda toy is shown in three or four episodes in the first season and then never seen again. There's literally nothing pedophilic about the show unless you pervert it yourself.
About a year ago a user here called a security guard at a mall an "obvious pedophile" because he enforced a rule on some fourteen-year-old girls who were unaccompanied at a local mall. I asked how he could be a pedophile when all he did was enforce the rules and then proceeded to not molest the girls.
Some people here go WAY overboard. It's like: get out once in a while.
Yeah we do have some retards on our side who jump to the most out there conclusions, things like thinking that every single reference to pizza is a pedo connection to the point of where they won't even eat pizza themselves if they made it at home like it's the literal Devil's food. Also not every single panda doll or image is meant to represent an abused child or marks someone as a pedo, normies are going to use them as they find them cute.
Someone else here also said good things about this movie in the past few months.
That's good, I missed it. That's why I started off with the apology because I am sure I am late on this. But it was shocking to me, tbh.
Thanks fren, I will watch it too.
I have been thinking that most of Hollywood is indirectly under WH control. A lot of redpills in movies. So not surprised, but from your post it seems its redpills are of high quality.
Thanks. I hadn't heard that take before; haven't seen the movie and might not, but this is good to know.
Yeah its not the greatest movie ever or anything, just was surprised at the message delivered.
