I've read that lots of musicians (probably their manager, crew, roadies etc) are used as cover to distribute large drug shipments since they tour the country and are allowed free access to large venues and cities.
The situation with Run DMC could be just another piece to the puzzle as the larger picture becomes more clear.
Strange how so many bands have suffered a horrible tragedy. Are they being punished for wanting out or for not following orders? Just a handful come to mind like Metallica, Tom Petty, Nirvana, AC/DC, Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Michael Jackson, Prince, Eric Clapton, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jimmy Hendrix, Janice Joplin, Ritchie Valens, Elvis, ....too many to list but strange nonetheless.
Forgot about Jam Master J. The murder of Boogie Down Productions’ Scott La Rock is another mysterious death in hip-hop not much talked about (where KRS One started.)
Someday I will sit down and make a whole topic on what you’re saying. Kurt Cobain is one example, sure he was mentally unhealthy but it’s common knowledge he was unhappy of the limelight and wanted to be off a major label so he could make more experimental music. Says so in Azzerad’s book. No way DGC (Geffen) was going to have that. So they scandaled him with Courtney Love’s help and drove him nuts.
Chris Cornell, was not a suicide and Chester Bennington, especially Chester (hell Linkin Park and Jay-Z even re-recorded an entire album together as a duo remix). What the heck, Jay-Z is a known Diddy cohort - did that have to do with his death?
Tom Petty, bless his soul but he made a lot of enemies in the music industry (rightly so) who sadly were able to get to him through his addictions.
Stewart Copeland from the Police, well known that his Dad was a CIA agent and Andy Summers (their very underrated guitar player) spent lots of time in Laurel Canyon in the 70s before he moved back to England to join up with Sting, Miles (Stew’s brother their manager) and him. They became the biggest band in the world in the span of five years.
Lots of military connections in classic rock. Not only Jim Morrison but Mike Rutherford (Genesis bass player and songwriter) his dad was a very highly respected British Naval figure. Seems suss as heck that Phil Collins “suddenly left” Genesis in the mid-90s and fell head first into working exclusively for Disney for a few years.
I could go on!
Edit: not saying anyone mentioned above is “black hat” or “white hat” we’ll just have to see. Would suck to find out some of my biggest influences in music and life are pedos 🤢 tho at this point I’m ready for it.
Excellent response, and thanks for the reminder of Chris and Chester. There really are A LOT of strange tragedies and a complete list would wake more normies.
You will probably appreciate this; Look at Eric Clapton's Wiki page. Brief summary, did pretty good as an artist, but after his son Conner fell 53 stories to his death, his tribute song broke all sorts of sales records and he got a truck load of awards. Was that the price he had to pay for not cooperating or maybe moving on to the next tier of success?
Before people start down voting me, please keep in mind that NOTHING in Hollywood, Politics, Big Corporate nor Music is allowed to "Make it big" unless they satisfy the demands of the gatekeepers.
Thank you and yes Clapton is another great example. Respected by guitarists and musicians (Van Halen only ever studied Clapton to learn guitar) but never had an #1. Even as a kid, I thought “huh?” when I heard about Connor’s tragedy. Next thing you know “Tears in Heaven” is #1..
Gotta get this in a separate topic someday, it’s the caffeine fueling this lol. But definitely needs revisiting as the truth is exposed.
Please do. This stuff fascinates me. I have a growing list of song lyrics on my phone to research as I KNOW they are trying to tell us more about what really goes on.
I just noticed your screen name, so you must know how Dave Mustaine does exactly this in his lyrics and videos.
Love me some Megadeth. Look at the “Rust in Peace” album we are basically living in those times, heading in that direction right now! Dave is mega-based. He was simping for Democrats in the 90s but I think he’s definitely come around. Man has seen some crazy sh-t I’m sure!
“Military intelligence two words combined can’t make no sense (unless it’s Q)” - Hangar 18 (I added that last part)
He wasnt so much a simp for Democrats as he was just anti establishment no matter who was in charge. It just so happened that for most of Megadeths growing years were under Reagan and Bush which spanned 12 years. And he never really bashed Reagan just Bush and the military industrial complex.
They became the biggest band in the world in the span of five years.
Because their drummer's Dad was in the CIA? is that the argument?
Seems suss as heck that Phil Collins “suddenly left” Genesis in the mid-90s
What are you talking about? Suddenly?
HIs first solo album was in 1981 with the massive worldwide hit In the Air Tonight.
He was a much bigger artist than Genesis at the time. He has 150 million sold as a solo artists. It's unusual he stayed in Genesis for as long as he did.
We all know Disney’s compromised, don’t you think it’s strange how Collins didn’t do anything outside of Disney during that time (mid 90s to early 00s?)
All his health problems started right after. And he wasn’t even touring or playing drums much then, because he was composing for Disney. It’s a rational reason to leave, everyone knew it, but that’s the easiest explanation offered to the public, on a silver platter.
Also, in regards to the Police, is it a coincidence John Belushi died after hanging out with their guitar player for some crazy times in Antigua? (See Summers’ autobiography.)
I’ve heard similar about the trafficking. And that country music is the #1 for drug trafficking because so many eyes are on the “hip hop” crowd. Rural areas are flooded with opiods.
But lots of people have tragedies in their lives, they're just not famous enough that they pop easily into your head.
I mean your list spans 70 years of popular music worldwide. That's tens of thousands of people if not more. Several of the folks listed died of substance abuse, something that affects millions of people and something almost encouraged in the good time all the time atmosphere of rock and roll.
Yep
People are saying Diddy did all of this because he was rich, bored, and evil.
In my opinion, Diddy was chosen for his role as because his puppet masters knew he was evil and they threw money at him to entice victims.
Yes, I get how people don't want to cooperate out of fear of retaliation, hence the reason for those anonymous police tip lines. Hard to get folks on the witness stand without special protection for them and their family. But 22 years? Seems that there was some other "influence" shielding the drug distribution. See my other comment.
I also read an NPR article but it still doesn't make sense. Why would Jay be welcoming to the dudes he had a disagreement with especially when they came in through the fire escape. And the shooter was his Godson??? 🤷‍♂️
I also read an NPR article but it still doesn't make sense
But everything doesn't need to make sense initially to be true. Also when you read an article, it might just be the writer didn't explain it well. The writer might have been asked for 800 words by 2PM. So every detail might not go in the story.
Why would Jay be welcoming to the dudes he had a disagreement with especially when they came in through the fire escape.
all the article says is,
greeted the two men as they entered.
so we don't know really how welcoming he was. He could have What's Up Or What do you want? or whatever........or maybe he welcomed there specifically because he thought there might be trouble, trying to be smooth with them perhaps calm them down. We don't know.
I just started watching a movie where a British gangster retires to Spain and all of sudden an old friend shows up and wants him back for a job. There's a good 10-15 minutes of people trying to friendly while every sentence is filled with menace.
I didn't know the answers to your questions so I looked for more detail.
They got into the building through the fire escape, but not into where Jam Master Jay was because that was on a different floor.
On Wednesday, October 30, 2002, Mizell was present at his recording studio, “24/7,” located on Merrick Boulevard in Jamaica, Queens, playing a video game with a friend and reviewing paperwork with his business manager. At approximately 7:30 p.m., the defendants’ co-conspirator opened a locked fire escape exit door allowing Washington and Jordan to enter the building without being seen by Mizell. Jordan, who was the victim’s godson, and Washington went upstairs to the recording studio where Jordan greeted Mizell, who was sitting on the couch and initially appeared happy to see him.
There's a good percentage of murders that happen among family members or friends. There's nothing unheard of there. They were also cocaine dealers. And murders in the cocaine trade are also not unheard of.
I mean any murder itself is unusual. So unusual details aren't too surprising.
They’re deliberately lying and leaving some of the truth out. They control what’s being said or printed I mean it’s NPR. Think of it as a “f u” to the survivors that know what really transpired.
I've read that lots of musicians (probably their manager, crew, roadies etc) are used as cover to distribute large drug shipments since they tour the country and are allowed free access to large venues and cities.

Wow, you're right. Even some of the song titles are telling:
🟢 Holy Wars... The Punishment Due 🟢 Hangar 18 🟢 Poison Was the Cure
His album covers always intrigued me and they make more sense now more than ever.
Ed Repka - great artist and illustrator. He’s done so many awesome album covers.
Because their drummer's Dad was in the CIA? is that the argument?
What are you talking about? Suddenly?
HIs first solo album was in 1981 with the massive worldwide hit In the Air Tonight.

No. It's not only not a coincidence it's not even something that coincides.
And I think it was Bali.
I stand corrected, they were in Bali. Book says so… I sure hope you’re right.
Patrick Bateman could clear this all up for us.
I’ve heard similar about the trafficking. And that country music is the #1 for drug trafficking because so many eyes are on the “hip hop” crowd. Rural areas are flooded with opiods.
And horse paste!
But lots of people have tragedies in their lives, they're just not famous enough that they pop easily into your head.

mac dre was robbing banks. (((who))) owns all the banks
Yep People are saying Diddy did all of this because he was rich, bored, and evil. In my opinion, Diddy was chosen for his role as because his puppet masters knew he was evil and they threw money at him to entice victims.
There's no connections between these two cases. Other than hip hop.
Did you read the article? the part where they said it was no mystery why they didn't convict people earlier?
Yes, I get how people don't want to cooperate out of fear of retaliation, hence the reason for those anonymous police tip lines. Hard to get folks on the witness stand without special protection for them and their family. But 22 years? Seems that there was some other "influence" shielding the drug distribution. There's a good percentage of murders that happen among family members or friends. There's nothing unheard of there. They were also cocaine dealers. And murders in the cocaine trade are also not unheard of.

Yes it is being unravelled before our eyes. A few months ago they arrested the guy who killed Tupac (also on Diddy's orders)
won't be long and they'll solve Notorious B.I.G.'s murder next!
Yes Hopefully!
The curtain is being pulled back to reveal reality much more quickly! This will wake up a lot of normies that appreciate rap music and the culture.
