That mask mandate was bullshit. I went everywhere in California without a mask and nobody said shit. They backed the fuck up when I stared them down and went about my business.
Didn't work for me here in the SF bay area. They didn't even allow me to enter grocery stores initially. When nobody was at the entrance and I sneaked in, a few times they caught me and didn't allow me to checkout at cash registrar without a mask. Felt like I was the pacman in the isles. Bloody idiots!
if you are in the bay area, why check out and pay for groceries?
you can just take them and walk out
The gay area...
Depends on skin color.
maybe it's wite.
Also in Bay Area - it must be the largest flock of sheep in America. When the mask mandate was "pulled", I was in LA for work. On the way down it was still in place and on the way back it was not. Plane was full and besides myself, and maybe three other people, everyone kept their mask on. Fear, fear, fear has worked well here because their greatest fear is to be seen as "the right" - even though that means anything to the right of extreme left. It is very junior high and the cool kids club. 🤮
And Nuisance can - as Elon so eloquently put it - go fuck himself. I can't stand that that prima donna.
More than the fear of virus, being seen as different and/or fear of being yelled at for that is the most fearful thing for most people. Democracy = complacency.
I went full blown Shemagh wrapped. That was fun
When some mask nazi was in a store, I would either tell him I can't breathe with the mask on, or I would just wear it over my mouth :)
I’d strap it to my forehead, and only in airports where they’re semi-federal.
They will call in goons there if you push them.
[15 people surround you] “Do we have a problem, sir?”
“You will face Justice someday, but not now, no.”
I witnessed many confrontations about it in my part of L.A., and participated in some. Around town there were plenty of self-righteous self-deputized mask police, including a lot of business owners and store managers. It was bullshit, but the bullshit was also flying pretty thick for awhile. Glad you faced up for freedom.
