I mean if you put everyone in jail, bad things don’t happen either. If America adopted this process, you would bet the prisons will be filled with white males, whether they committed crimes or not. And it comes to polictical opposition, best of luck would be life in prison. Authoritarianism sounds good in the right hands, but its a fucking nightmare in the wrong ones.

Well I think it said 2.4 per 100k which is really low. Also some dying in state custody likely killed in jail.

El Salvador gets the honest citizens back because things are turning out for the better there, and USA swaps its cheap work-force for criminals.
