Where I live used to be covered by an ocean as they attest by fossil records, and then later covered by a glacier, which when it receded led to the extinction of those species who could live in that climate.
THAT was a climate crisis! A GLACIER moving down to cover the land that would much later (now) be habitable and fertile! And then the glacier receding, leaving species who lived in that climate successfully, EXTINCT!
And humans had nothing whatsoever to do with it!

I think the problem is what they teach, not that they aren't teaching.
I believe there's a simple solution to climate change, global warming or global cooling.
When it's global cooling, put on a jacket and maybe fire up the wood stove.
When it's global warming, take off the jacket and turn on a fan or AC unit.
Problem solved.
