What "bank failure(s)" was announced at COB on Friday? I haven't heard of any.
Republic First out of Philly was taken over by the Fed at close of business yesterday.

Yes... since I posted that question, I found the same story. It seems that owning physical silver and gold is very important.
Always has been
moving against self-custody of Bitcoin?
sauce?
This?

Funny. You have your bitcoin in a self-custody wallet. You are protecting yourself with max privacy and anonymity. How are they going to move against it?
By showing you are using it and undermining the USD?
On a different note: how are they going to move against privacy coins like monero? Kiirocoin? I think this is projection of threat signalling. The ignorant and fearful will sheepishly be corralled into the "safe and securer" CBDC.
IIRC Bitcoin isn't really anonymous

Correct. It is not. If you know what you do, Monero is. Kiirocoin could be.
I was thinking this FBI notice, which was also discussed on the PPshow:

Notice that Dowd doesn't say action to end self-custody, he says "cut off". The cutoff point for the average person is being unable to remove crypto from their exchange/brokerage/scammer.
^ TBH this almost reads like a warning to the cabal: we're about to have to do enforcement so move your ill-gotten gains now before they are frozen...
Better to just k ow the dollar is going g to crash. Its almost there. It's so obvious I don't understand why more people aren't preparing for it.
