This is a subject that has been antagonizing me for some time...years ago, my friend's sons were wrestling. They were forced to wrestle against a girl a few times in their career, starting in middle school. Having been raised to not hit, hurt or molest women, having to waller on a wrestling mat, using moves that, not in a match, would be considered sexual assault, was demeaning. But, because women pushed for it and got their way, young men had to endure. Fast forward 20 years. NOW, women are saying they need their safe spaces and separate competition. I get it, I'm a woman. However, part of me is aggrevated that now, since they are uncomfortable, it's wrong; not when they were getting their way against young men years before, making the boys uncomfortable.
Several years ago, my husband got involved in Oakanawan karate. His sensei was a woman. Tiny thing but had power. Could jump kick above her head. My husband is a big guy - 6''4" - and while he could not move as fast, his physical strength just gave him an edge. One day, he was paired with a woman with a higher belt than he had at the time to challenge him. She went a little low and he instinctively reacted with a shot to the head that made her eyes roll back. She shook it off because she knew what she had done, But it illustrates that no matter how good you are as a woman, you are always going to be handicapped with a physical disadvantage that is very hard to overcome.
The point is that you were competing against boys until they had a girls league, and you were willing to make boys uncomfortable, to go against their faith or force them to forfeit if they didn't want to wrestle a girl so you could have your way. My friend's sons found the experience humiliating, and they beat their girl opponents...imagine how boys felt that lost. The sexual divide kept these things in perspective. You obviously considered your needs/wants/desires more important than theirs. In my mind, your actions contributed to the problem we are having now, weakening sexual distinctiveness, whether or not you can acknowledge it.
10-20 years ago they didn't have girl's league wrestling so we had to compete in the same league as the boys. I did wrestling in high school and would have loved a girl's division because against others girls, I was a decent wrestler, but against boys not so much. They said if we wanted to have a girl's league there needed to be more girls competing. So instead of quitting, I kept competing hoping that other girls would join up if they saw me and other girls wrestling. Now the girl's have their own wrestling team. I'd like to think my time was not a complete waste, even though I didn't get to experience an all girls' wrestling team, the girls nowadays are...at least until a tranny shows up to compete.
Each generation has its set of challenges and unfortunately, the tranny invasion in HS sports is Gen Z's battle. Only their refusal to comply with it will be it's undoing.
Very true. Women/girls should not have been allowed in male sports such as wrestling, football, etc. Now we see the chickens have come home to roost. Women wanted equality. Wanted to compete against males. Wanted their place in the military. Just wait until we have to enter WW III, with failed recruitment efforts d/t the vax mandate, pushing of DEI and trans, there will be a draft of both men and women. Watch the hue and cry by women and their families. You want equality, you don’t get to pick and choose. Men have been shelved, white men in particular. Men are being dumbed down. Masculinity is bad gay and trans are good. Vaccines are being pushed, some 70-75 in a child’s lifetime compared to 5 decades ago. Vaccines are pushed on pregnant women. Soy milk is encouraged d/t “allergies”, most likely caused by vaccines not cow’s milk. Soy contains estrogens. God only knows what else is put in the infant formula, which is composed of many chemicals and tested on rats. Then children are eating fast foods day in and day out. It is only a matter of time that insects and fake meat is in school lunches, if not already. It is pat time to return to the simple: milk from your local farmer, grass fed & grass finished meat, local produce or home grown, butter (no margarine, shortening or seed oils-grapeseed, olive oil, canola oil, vegetable oil), and breastfeed.
