People don't call homemade chicken noodle soup "Jewish penicillin" for nothing. Especially when it's made with the bones of the bird for broth and spices like tumeric, garlic, and all the herbs.
I like mine with a little bit of cannabis flower added in, as well.
I even remember when you could get just a bottle of coke syrup at the Woolworth's Five & Dime for upset stomachs. Back before it was loaded with high fructose corn jizz.
I live directly behind a Portuguese restaurant with absolutely delicious food although a bit pricey... Around dinner time all my daughter and I smell is their food... Talk about torture... Kekekekek... Cheers fren... ☕️☕️☕️
There was a time when I took some Theraflu gel caps and some Sudafed at the same time. I've never been so high in my life. I mean I felt really really good. Since then the Theraflu capsules are no longer available.
I get sinus headaches too. Mine are caused by artificial fragrances. I pretty much live a fragrance free life -- or as much of my surroundings as I can control anyway. Before bedtime I spray a saline nasal spray to open up my sinuses so I can breathe easier as I'm asleep. The bottle says it has Oxymetazoline HCI 0.05%. It's like $1.89 per bottle in the Walmart brand.
Sometimes it takes a combo of solutions. The Flonase chemicals aren’t great for the body but do help. We do a steroid nasal spray also since I get bad allergies.
I also remember scientists saying indirect evidence of viral pathology was only a temporary measure until the technology improved. We're up to genetic editing and nano-particulate filters, but still no direct evidence to show as proof of concept. We know more about how beneficial and adverse prions transmit their states to other proteins than we do about the supposed mechanism that renders cytopathogenic effects into the myriad of illnesses blamed on the viruses.
Part of me thinks I should try to be less reactionary; another part of me simply cannot let go of the lack of accountability and transparency in medical science and industry. But good memes require brevity, so I really probably should be less reactionary.
Pepperidge farms remembers.
Absolutely... Cheers fren... ☕️☕️☕️

Those were the days of simple common sense cures... Cheers fren... ☕️☕️☕️

I get allergic sinus migraines.
Tried the good Sudafed for a while--the kind you need to show your ID for. Didn't really help.
Eventually I realized that turmeric is used in spicy food, so I took some turmeric curcumin my parents had on hand--and it worked!
Ordered a bottle of the supplement online immediately, and now I take it every day. Doesn't prevent every headache, but it does stop over 90% of them.
So the problem wasn't mucus, it was inflammation blocking said mucus.

Surprisingly a simple saline nasal spray works amazingly for sinus headaches.
I tried that. Didn't help either.
However, fluticasone propionate (Flonase) seems to, which is why I always keep some of that around as well.
Probably because it's a corticosteroid.
Sometimes it takes a combo of solutions. The Flonase chemicals aren’t great for the body but do help. We do a steroid nasal spray also since I get bad allergies.
I figured it wasn't a perfect solution, but what's the bad stuff Flonase does to you?
Corticosteroids aren’t good for the body generally.
A bunch of detail

Neither is Sudafed as of recently... It was banned when "they" found out it works against covid... Cheers fren... ☕️☕️☕️
Typical government we have.
Agreed fren...
