My family was a victim of this decades ago. Forced to sell off 6000 acres of a 10,000 acre plantation. Broke us... almost. Easy resolves were available... none considered. Dad ran for the Senate and BOOM...lost our land. He was a full-bird Airforce Colonel and Patriot. Too honest of public office.
I'm sorry for your family's troubles. My husband ran his family's sugar cane farm for years. The amount of bullshit he and other farmers go through with the federal government is a crime or should be. Why not let farmers just do their jobs? I remember and I'm sure you do as well those nights when my husband and your dad came home bone tired only to have start on the paperwork the damned government required.
We used to be a community of small farmers. Now there are zero. All we grow are trees.

Disgraceful what they are doing to Farmers. THere is a show on Prime(I know) by Jeremy Clarkson called 'Clarksons Farm' .It clearly shows the utter bullshit that farmers have to go through every single day.
Someone needs to be hung by the short hairs. They have infiltrated every single aspect of America...This needs to end and the power be brought back to the people.
We avoid anything with the state. Everyone thinks I'm crazy for not letting them build our water sheds and ponds and really nuts for not getting a farm tax number to save on taxes. No list and no 'favors' for me please. One of these days they will have everything taken and depend on stupid me to eat and survive.
Does that include not getting an ag exemption?

I have no familiarity with farm credit - does the farmer that borrows from them put up collateral? Are the loans made for purchasing equipment, land, operating expenses? The tweet mentioned acts of sabotage but did not specify what that entailed - are they sabotaging would be borrowers loan application so they can't get approved or what? Excuse me for my ignorance - farm credit is not anything I've ever dealt with.
It's like a loan on the land. Around here they do an inspection beforehand. If they find something like an underground gas tank then they insist on testing for leaks. I had a friend end up owing 250k in cleanup fees because they asked for a loan. The government is dangerous especially when they can claim they are helping someone or the environment.
It's past time to have public executions of those people who are doing what they can to harm Americans. I think this is what they want, ultimately. At some point soon, we need to impact these people so it is remembered generationally. It's coming down to an us or them.
Bet the worked for Bill gates or the Chinese. It would be a shame if someone local researched who bought the land.
